Your application comes to our recruiting desk, not to a mailbox. We read every one and take the people who fit to the hiring team.

We are hiring a Junior Computer Vision Engineer in Remote (India) for a team building on computer vision, machine learning, deep learning. 0-1 years of experience.

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

computer vision, machine learning, deep learning, with image processing, CNNs, neural networks across the wider stack.

WHAT YOU NEED

  • 0-1 years with computer vision in production.
  • Hands-on depth in machine learning, deep learning, enough to defend a decision you made in each, and name the one you rejected.
  • Working familiarity with image processing, CNNs, neural networks.
  • Fundamentals you can explain out loud: data structures, HTTP, version control. We would rather have somebody who reasons well than somebody who has memorised a framework.

  • Git, branching and code review as a daily habit
  • One cloud provider used in anger: AWS, Azure or GCP
  • CI/CD: your work reaches an environment without somebody carrying it
  • Python with PyTorch or TensorFlow, and a model you took past the notebook
  • Docker, and GPU or accelerator compute on a cloud provider
  • Experiment tracking and reproducibility: MLflow, Weights & Biases, or your own discipline
  • Data pipelines and feature stores, since most of the work is upstream of the model
  • Evaluation you trust: offline metrics, and what they missed in production

HOW THE INTERVIEW GOES

Expect to be asked how you would approach a problem in each of the areas above, and why you would not take the obvious route. Then one level down on whichever answer was weakest.

What the interview covers

computer vision, machine learning and deep learning.
