Technical Content Writer

We are hiring a Technical Content Writer in Pune for a team working across Copywriting, Marketing, content strategy. 2-3 years of experience.

Copywriting, Marketing, content strategy, with SEO, system design, Analytics across the wider stack.

• 2-3 years with Copywriting in a working team.
• Hands-on depth in Marketing, content strategy, enough to defend a decision you made in each, and name the one you rejected.
• Working familiarity with SEO, system design, Analytics.
• You can own a piece of work end to end — the research, the decision, the rollout, and the part where you find out you were half right.
• The ability to explain a decision to somebody who did not make it. Every round here includes it.

Not the focus of the interview, but part of the job. Teams ask about these, so be ready to talk about them:

• SEO in practice: search intent, structure, internal linking, and a page that ranked
• A CMS and a publishing workflow, plus Markdown and basic HTML
• Analytics: knowing which pages worked and being willing to cut the ones that did not
• Enough technical depth to interview an engineer and get it right

Expect to be asked how you would approach a problem in each of the areas above, and why you would not take the obvious route. Then one level down on whichever answer was weakest.
