Cloudflare introduces Web Search API through AI Gateway
Cloudflare announced a Web Search API in AI Gateway with Ceramic.ai, Exa and Linkup, returning fresh web context and links for grounded agent applications.
Cloudflare presents Web Search API as a way to add live web context to agent workflows instead of guessing URLs and fetching them directly. The announcement names Ceramic.ai, Exa and Linkup as launch partners. It says responses include links to crawled content, requests appear in AI Gateway observability logs, and usage can draw from AI Gateway credits or use a provider key. Before adoption, test source quality and confirm bot, retention, access and cost settings for the chosen provider.
