Python 3.10 reaches its final release

Source: Python InsiderEasyHow cards are made

Python 3.10.22 is the series' final release and receives no more security updates. Python 3.11 through 3.14 also received maintenance or security releases, so teams should check their supported-version plan before upgrading.

The Python release team published 3.10.22, 3.11.17, 3.12.15, 3.13.16, and 3.14.8 on October 1. The practical change is lifecycle management: 3.10 has ended security support, while 3.11 is in security-fix-only mode and 3.12 remains supported longer. The post says 3.10.22, 3.11.17, and 3.12.15 are source-only releases; 3.13.16 and 3.14.8 include binary installers. For a service, inventory the interpreter version, confirm how deployments obtain Python, and schedule migration before unsupported security coverage becomes an operational risk.
